Giving up on pay per click!

I set up an Adwords account but ended up using yahoo search because for a little extra money they set everything up including keyword research. I was told you need a daily budget of $500 to make any money at this, I don't have near that kind of money to spend. I did make an attempt at less than that because according to a formula yahoo has I thought for every ten clicks I would get two sales, it wasn't that good.

To be honest about it writing good content and submitting it to article directories while having it on my website has done more good than I think any pay per click could do.
